Try to complete and memorize the following Bible verse for Friday night's meeting:
"Вникай в _________ и в учение; занимайся сим ____________: ибо, так ___________, и себя ____________ и слушающих тебя" - (1 Тим. 4:16)
Как хорошо ты знаешь себя? Почему Священное Писание побуждает нас вникать в себя, причем говоря, что и само спасение человека зависит от того делает человек это или нет? На этой недели, мы свами более глубоко вникнем в эти вопросы и постараемся дать ответы на них.
Perfect! Come to Friday Fortress at 7:30 pm to grab some tea, wind down, and wish Liza Melnikova a HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! She has volunteered to cover the food table tomorrow, but don't be shy in asking her if you can help out. The program will start at 8:00 and will include a sermon in Russian.

Only Settle For The Best - 12/16 Fortress!!
Dearest people,
The more you take, the more you leave behind. What are they? And what does a merry-go-round have to do with it? For a child, this carousel of blazing lights and colors is the most wonderful thing in the world. That is until he/she has taken a spin on this wild ride and afterwards experiences overpowering nausea stampeding through their tender stomach, gets double vision, and realizes that they're too dizzy to walk in a straight line. How disheartening for that child who could have had an awesome day, but settled for this mediocre carnival ride instead.
This Friday, our discussion leader will speak about "saying no to the good in order to get the best". Here are a few of his words:
"Satan will offer you things that are almost perfect, (once you go far enough), in order to prevent you from getting the best. There is a truth and there is The Truth. Satan will gladly offer you the first, which is why he is a Liar. Sounds hard not to mess up in life, right?"
Be at Friday Fortress to understand these truths and get the answers. All are welcome at 7:30 pm to get front row seats, have tea, and read Shakespeare with Inessa and Denis. The worship will start exactly at 8:00 pm, followed by a sermon in Russian.

12/9/11 - Friday Fortress!
Dearest people,
This Friday, we will have a remarkable opportunity to dig deep into an act of fathomless gratitude on the part of a woman named Mary. Six days before the Passover, she shocked many by taking a perfume jar filled with pure nard and anointing the feet of Jesus Christ. This jar was worth about a years salary, maybe even her life's savings, and was most likely bought by Mary for her own future burial. To further her act of devotion to Jesus, Mary lets down her hair and wipes His feet with it. In those times, a woman only let her hair down in front of her husband. By doing this, Mary showed her loyalty and commitment to the Holy Messiah....
Come to Friday Fortress to hear more on this topic and how to apply it to your life. Be there at 7:30 pm to have some tea, chillax, and talk about politics with Alsu. The worship will start exactly at 8:00 pm, followed by a sermon in English.

Happy Thanksgiving! - No Friday Fortress 11/25

This Friday, Krepost is moving! As most of you have already heard, the youth is going to the Harrisonburg Conference. The church van is leaving on Thursday at 3 pm and will be coming back Saturday night. Spots in the van are limited so if you are still interested in going, sign up now.
